This week I attended WordCamp Minneapolis 2019 at the University of Minnesota campus. Even being nearby because of my odd work schedules & other priorities, I was unable to attend previous years. This was my first WordCamp attendance and I found it well organized, with good food, hospitable volunteers.
I was interested to attend WooCommerce Workshop presented by two WooCommerce nerds Andrew Wikel and Zach Stepeck. The topics covered included logistics, resources & other background stuffs to set up a e-commerce store with WooCommerce plugin. In the afternoon session, hands-on demo was presented. Both Andrew & Zach were very friendly and fun to listen to.
The first day of camp covered several topics including participating in open source, WordPress security, accessibility & inspirational experiences what not to do. The end of the day keynote talk Collaboration and Communication: Success in Community and Business by Cami Kaos (from Automattic) was very useful, interesting and entertaining. Because of other priorities, I skipped the last of day of the camp.
